Schedule & Pay Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑4:30 pm
Pay: $18.00/hour
What You Will Do The Materials Specialist’s responsibilities include domestic and export shipping operations, handling will‑call orders, loading and unloading trucks, processing orders for shipment, pulling orders, receiving trucks, putting away and combining product, and working with scanners while ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications
Prepare items for shipment, including wrapping and weighing the pallet
Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
Affix shipping labels
Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
Perform cycle counts and bin validations, as required
Meet shipping deadlines by working required hours and be able to work any required overtime (only if approved)
Accuracy when counting parts, both incoming and outgoing
Combine like parts into locations
Operate a fork truck to lift, move or hoist shipping/receiving materials from the shipping/receiving area to storage or work area
Responsible for direct, effective communication with customers, vendors, and service providers, including order fulfillment, delivery status, product availability, and freight information
