Loan Servicing Specialist

Seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to join a growing team! This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and servicing of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. This role ensures accurate loan maintenance, payment processing, escrow administration, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Administer a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including term loans, construction loans, and lines of credit Process loan payments, payoffs, advances, and principal/interest adjustments accurately and timely Maintain loan records within the servicing system, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation Monitor escrow accounts for taxes, insurance, and reserves; ensure timely disbursements and compliance Review loan agreements to ensure servicing aligns with contractual terms and covenants Track borrower compliance requirements, including financial reporting, insurance coverage, and covenant testing Coordinate funding for construction draws and disbursements, including review of supporting documentation Support loan modifications, renewals, and extensions in partnership with credit and relationship management teams Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of loan servicing experience Strong understanding of CRE loan documentation, servicing practices, and escrow management Familiarity with loan servicing systems and banking platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
