Trueline's client, a boutique residential design-build firm known for thoughtful, high-end home transformations, is seeking a
Senior Interior Designer
to join their team in Acton, MA (office and client sites). This is a client-facing role leading projects from concept through installation, offering a blend of creative ownership and hands-on execution in a flexible work environment.
What You'll Do as the Senior Interior Designer:
Lead residential design projects from initial concept through final installation
Partner directly with homeowners to guide design decisions and overall vision
Develop space plans, layouts, and cohesive material and finish palettes
Own kitchen, bath, and whole-home design direction
Specify cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, and materials aligned with project budgets
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams
Coordinate with vendors and manage product selections and ordering
Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is executed accurately
Must-Haves as the Senior Interior Designer:
Strong expertise in kitchen and bath design
Proficiency in design software, ideally Chief Architect
Solid drafting and technical design skills
Excellent client-facing communication and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Interior Designer:
Experience working within a design-build environment
Familiarity with vendor coordination and procurement processes
Ability to balance creative vision with budget and construction constraints
