Markarian is seeking a Content & Marketing Manager to lead the brand’s digital communication across social media, email, and SMS. This is a full-time, in-person role based in New York, working closely with the Director of Marketing and collaborating with senior leadership across brand and merchandising. The role supports the development and execution of Markarian’s digital communication, translating collections, launches, and brand moments into thoughtful and cohesive storytelling across channels. The ideal candidate brings a strong editorial sensibility, a refined visual eye, and an interest in how digital communication supports both brand storytelling and business growth. Experience within fashion, luxury, or a design-driven brand is strongly preferred. This position manages the social content calendar and lifecycle marketing within Klaviyo, including email and SMS campaigns. The candidate should be comfortable concepting, designing, and building campaigns directly within platform tools while maintaining a strong visual standard. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a forward-looking content calendar aligned with seasonal launches and brand priorities Support storytelling around collections, events, and key brand moments Ensure clarity and consistency across digital communication Social media Manage day-to-day publishing across Instagram and relevant platforms Write captions aligned with the brand’s voice and point of view Capture and produce short-form content in studio and at events as needed Maintain visual and tonal cohesion across social channels Concept, design, and build email campaigns within Klaviyo Manage SMS communication thoughtfully and selectively Maintain and evolve email templates in alignment with brand standards Assist with segmentation, campaign scheduling, and lifecycle flows Monitor engagement and revenue performance across campaigns Track and report on performance across social, email, and SMS Coordinate with digital marketing partners to align campaign timing and paid support Support adjustments to communication strategy based on performance insights Cross-functional collaboration

Partner with leadership on messaging for launches and campaigns Coordinate assets and timelines across teams Maintain organized systems for content planning, marketing calendars, and campaign reporting Ensure content assets, imagery, and campaign materials are properly logged, filed, and maintained across shared drives and internal systems Support coordination with freelance creative partners when needed Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or lifecycle marketing Experience withinfashion, luxury, or a design-driven brand strongly preferred A strong interest in fashion, visual culture, and brand storytelling Experience building and managing email campaigns in Klaviyo Strong writing and editing skills Strong visual sensibility and comfort working within layout systems Highly organized with close attention to detail Comfortable working independently in a small, collaborative team Experience with the following tools is a plus: Google Drive and shared digital asset systems
