Sales Consultants
are self‑driven and motivated to increase market share within a designated geographic territory, cultivating new customers and nurturing relationships with existing ones. They work in a collaborative team environment to deliver high‑quality buildings backed by superior warranties.
Responsibilities Approximately 70% of this role focuses on presale responsibilities: prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, solution development, and guiding customers through the early stages of the buying process. The remaining 30% centers on postsale project management—coordinating project details, communicating with internal teams, and supporting the build through completion.
Qualifications
2 years sales or account management experience
preferred or 5 years of construction management experience
Associate or bachelor's degree in business, construction, or project management
preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining an accurate and organized sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Minimal overnight travel required beyond the initial training and onboarding period
Ability to develop and maintain an adequate sales funnel to meet or exceed established sales budgets
Aptitude to grow existing market share and be readily available during construction and project work hours
Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project, including MBI personnel, subcontractors, and permitting authorities
Maintain customer confidentiality
Displays excellent verbal and written communication along with strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
Must reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory within 30 days of hire date
Compensation Starting annual pay range of $65,000 to $85,000. The pay plan includes a base salary, training subsidy, and commission. Earnings expand year over year as consultants build experience, grow their portfolios, and receive annual increases.
