Job Summary
The Senior Product Designer leads design efforts that shape the user experience across key areas of our product ecosystem. The role takes initiative in defining complex design problems, advocates for user needs, and aligns solutions with business goals. The work directly influences product strategy and execution, and leadership guides teams toward best‑in‑class product experiences. The role serves as a design thought partner to product and engineering leads, contributing high‑quality Product Design artifacts, identifying opportunities for user research, and delivering solutions grounded in human‑centered design principles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Product Design efforts for major product areas, solving complex user and business problems with innovative, scalable solutions.
Evangelize Product Design best practices, design thinking, and accessibility principles across cross‑functional teams.
Create and deliver high‑quality Product Design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analyses.
Contribute new components and patterns to the Design System Library (DSL), influencing design consistency and system adoption.
Define research needs and conduct or collaborate on usability testing to validate and refine design solutions.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research partners to drive alignment and clarity across the product development lifecycle.
Understand and balance business goals, technical constraints, and user needs in all aspects of your work.
Break down large, ambiguous projects into clear, actionable workstreams with measurable outcomes.
Actively participate in critiques, mentorship, and continuous improvement of design team processes.
Education, Experience & Certifications
5+ years of experience in Product Design, with a portfolio that demonstrates impact across multiple product areas or complex systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, UX, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience working on multi‑platform products (e.g., mobile, web, internal tools) preferred.
Functional Skills
Mastery of industry‑standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe CC, with experience producing core Product Design deliverables.
Deep knowledge of Product Design best practices, accessibility guidelines, and responsive design principles.
Strong ability to drive alignment across stakeholders and influence decisions through storytelling and data.
Hands‑on experience designing within agile, cross‑functional product teams.
Experience contributing to and evolving design systems at scale.
Comfortable leading design reviews and presenting to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to guide others and elevate the work of peers through informal mentorship or leadership.
Exposure to product strategy and ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes.
Strong facilitation skills for workshops, critiques, and collaborative problem‑solving sessions.
