About The Role
The Commercial Strategy & Market Development intern will work closely with the North America Industrial Spices Leadership Team to understand business operations, commercial sales, and marketing strategy. Project work will support high‑impact growth initiatives, lead generation, pipeline build, and strategy development. The ideal candidate should be in good standing with an accredited university and have a desire to pursue a career within the food industry. The desire to learn in a fast‑paced environment while working across functions and geographies will be required for success in this internship. Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis: marketing mapping and competitive analysis, collecting, analysing, and interpreting internal and external data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Strategy Development: new customer mapping, outreach automation, and development of sales strategies to achieve business objectives. Reporting: creating detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to internal leadership and stakeholders. Performance Monitoring: tracking sales performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement. Collaboration: working cross‑functionally to support volume and financial goals. What You’ll Bring
Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor’s or master’s in business, data science, engineering, supply chain, food science, or related field of study. Excel intermediate level with knowledge for data modelling and analytics. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Exposure to AI tools, automation, or prompt engineering preferred. Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced environment. Must possess a high degree of initiative, tenacity and resourcefulness. What You’ll Gain
