
Freelance Packaging Designer - Fragrance

We are looking for a Freelance Packaging Designer for a global beauty, fragrance and body care brand. The Designer is responsible for creating commercially viable product designs for fragrance, body, lip and skincare categories.
Hourly pay rate is based on experience up to
$44.00
per hour.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and develop innovative designs that maintain brand consistency.
Ensure all concepts and innovative design ideas are cutting‑edge and maintain brand consistency.
Work with category teams responding to artwork briefs.
Liaise with cross‑functional teams to create various designs, concepts and graphics (advertising, packaging, merchandising, collateral, digital).
Provide creative input for photo shoots, digital assets, social media campaigns and PR.
Strong eye for color, color matching and occasional press checks.
Partner with marketing in overseeing creative output concept through production.
Required Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of graphic design.
Strong production skills.
Ability to generate innovative packaging concepts/designs.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of industry trends on emerging creative technologies and applications.
Understanding of brand image and vision.
Superior Adobe Suite skills.
Modern aesthetic.
5–7 years of related business experience.
Consumer packaged goods or beauty industry experience is preferred.
Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and a strong understanding of the packaging production process.
Collaborative leadership skills.
Prioritization & organization skills.
Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral).
Self‑motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Must be able to work well independently or within a team.
Strong interest in the beauty business / sensitivity to métier.
Must be professional and energetic with a positive attitude.
