Improvement Leader

Our leaders shape strategic initiatives, develop passionate teams, and work to improve health outcomes. As an Improvement Leader, you partner with leaders and team members to ensure on‑time completion of improvement projects and deliver expected results. Using data and Lean management, you analyze practice operations, identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy, and apply Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) thinking to foster breakthrough improvements aligned with the business unit’s strategic goals.

You serve as a key facilitator in standardizing best practices across the practice operations network, utilizing proven change‑management methodologies to ensure sustainable excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Key Relationships Reports to: Director of Operational Excellence – System Services

Candidate Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience required.

3–5 years of relevant experience.

3–5 years leading process improvement in a Lean enterprise or equivalent experience within IU Health.

Basic proficiency in MS Office.
