Job Summary
Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.
Qualifications
Experience utilizing the DoD Issuance Style Guide and AP Style
Experience working with the front office of senior staff
Experience writing, editing, and managing technical documentation for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of the proper handling, marking, and tracking of classified material
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to gather technical information and program data for the development of accurate, high‑quality documentation
Ability to pay strict attention to detail and successfully adhere to deadlines
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree

Experience using AI tools to assist in the writing of technical documentation
Knowledge of DoD 5000 series instructions
Master's degree
Microsoft Office Specialist: Word Expert Certification
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package, which includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits; paid leave; professional development; tuition assistance; work‑life programs; and dependent care. Full‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
