As a Community Solutions Specialist, you are the front door to the City of Temple—helping residents, businesses, and visitors navigate services, resolve issues, and get connected to the resources they need.
In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality, responsive service across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, text, and online), ensuring every interaction reflects our mission of
“exceptional service without exception.”
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for community members seeking information or assistance with City services
Respond to inquiries across multiple channels in a professional, timely, and solution-oriented manner
Accurately document and manage service requests using
Salesforce (CRM)
Follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated issues by coordinating with internal departments
Stay current on City programs, services, policies, and procedures
Support City operations during emergencies and weather events (on-call rotation)
Perform additional duties to support team and organizational goals
