Sr. Technical Recruiter – Life Safety & Fire Alarm Industry Travel 30%

Location: Tysons, VA. (Onsite)

Requirements & Details

Clearance/Citizen Type:

Applicants selected will have the opportunity to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Location:

Onsite, Tysons, VA

Travel:

Up to 30% travel (job sites, customer sites)

Work Authorization:

Must possess U.S. Work Authorization and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)

Responsibilities

Recruit, develop, and maintain a candidate pipeline for Life Safety, Fire Alarm, and related roles.

Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand staffing needs, especially for positions requiring security clearances.

Develop and implement tailored recruitment strategies for life safety roles.

Source talent using job boards, social media, niche platforms, and industry networks.

Evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience in the fire alarm and life safety industry.

Guide candidates through the security clearance process, assisting with documentation and interviews.

Maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet ongoing and future hiring needs.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer.

Ensure a top-tier candidate experience through timely, clear communication.

Work with HR and compliance to meet OFCCP and other regulatory standards.

Use data to track recruitment metrics and continuously optimize processes.

Required Experience

5+ years

in the engineering and construction industry focused on Life Safety & Fire Alarm.

Experience recruiting technical talent in the Fire Alarm and Life Safety sector.

Strong understanding of:

Fire Alarm systems design, construction, installation & commissioning

Fire Alarm inspection, service & maintenance

Station monitoring

Fire protection & specific hazard systems engineering

Experience hiring:

Fire alarm technicians

Safety inspectors

Installers

Fire alarm programmers

Knowledge of PLC, ESS, and FA principles.

Proven success in full life cycle recruiting.

Excellent communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and creativity.
