Benchmark Community Bank is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Business Solutions to lead and advance our Business Solutions (Treasury Management) program. This role provides overall direction for Business Solutions, including product strategy, team leadership, and customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of treasury management expertise, leadership presence, and strategic thinking-along with a passion for building relationships and delivering high-quality solutions to business customers and municipalities.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth

Develop and execute the Bank's Business Solutions strategy, with a focus on revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention

Lead Business Solutions sales and calling strategies in partnership with Commercial and Retail teams to achieve call and sales goals

Analyze market trends and internal customer data to identify prospecting and cross-sell opportunities

Provide reporting on Business Solutions revenue, growth, and performance to executive leadership

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, coach, and develop Business Solutions Officers

Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture

Support performance management, goal setting, and ongoing professional development

Treasury Product & Vendor Management

Oversee the full Business Solutions product suite, including ACH, Wire, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Business Mobile Deposit, Business eBanking (BeB), payroll, and related services

Manage vendor relationships and oversee product enhancements

Evaluate treasury and digital solutions for improvement, expansion, or elimination based on market needs

Collaborate with operational areas to ensure solution support and delivery are functioning at a high level

Customer Engagement & Service Excellence

Provide leadership support for complex customer relationships, onboarding, and escalations

Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new Business Solutions customers

Strengthen customer retention through exceptional service delivery and proactive issue resolution

Operational & Compliance Oversight

Ensure Business Solution offerings and documentation comply with all applicable federal, state, and bank policies and procedures

Maintain and enhance treasury-related processes, procedures, and internal controls

Prepare and manage the annual Business Solutions budget and strategic plan

Participate in bank committees and planning initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Treasury Management, Business Solutions, Digital Banking, Commercial Banking Operations, or a related banking discipline

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and drive accountability

Demonstrated expertise in Treasury account analysis, including:

Reviewing account activity, balances and structures

Performing profitability and relationship analysis at the customer level

Identifying pricing gaps and opportunities for repricing and restructuring

Customer-facing knowledge of ACH, Wire, RDC, Positive Pay, and business online banking platforms

Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and escalations

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
