PAY RANGE : $21.97 - $39.27/hour
DEPARTMENT : Member Insurance & Investment Services
The Administrative Representative for EECU Member Investment Services is responsible for providing specialized administrative support to assigned Investment Representative(s), including account processing and follow up, field incoming client calls, and filing investment and insurance documents. This role will report directly to the assigned Investment Representative(s).
Duties for This Position Include
Scheduling member appointments using the credit union appointment scheduling system (Coconut), providing client servicing duties (i.e.: account changes/update, withdrawals, contributions, etc.), handling all system‑assigned client phone appointments, and ensuring investments are processed within required broker/dealer established timeframes.
Processing completed investment and/or insurance applications.
Ensuring all client documents are uploaded into the broker/dealer’s electronic client file system in a timely manner.
Assisting in employer‑sponsored functions, including the annual meeting, financial workshops, and member investment workshops.
Preparing reports, hypotheticals, correspondence, and memos.
Working and communicating professionally with all mutual fund sponsors, insurance companies, and broker/dealer employees on a daily basis.
Maintaining compliance with investment industry regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Must obtain a notary license within six months.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.) to utilize various software programs.
Ability to work independently, self‑disciplined/motivated, and member service oriented.
Ability to work with branch employees and managers as well as executive‑level managers.
While the primary reporting location will be at our Barstow branch, the candidate must be able to travel to assigned EECU branch locations as needed.
Knowledgeable and up to date on various investment account types and associated details to remain in compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Take and pass the FINRA Securities Essentials (SIE) exam, and obtain the Series 6 and 63 security licenses within 12 months of being in the position. May also be required to obtain a CA Life Insurance license.
Must successfully pass the regulatory background check and the broker dealer’s (LPL) screening process.
Credit check required.
Clean DMV record.
