Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Activity Director to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois. The Activity Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational activities for our residents, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address the needs of residents and develop targeted activities to meet those needs
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to activities and programming
Lead a team of activity aides and volunteers to assist with activity planning and implementation
Develop and manage the activity budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure that activities are enjoyable and meaningful
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve the activity program
