Parts Counterperson
to join our team at our Torrington Repair Facility.
Responsibilities
Preforms audits of inventory & daily cycle counts
Review inventory levels using reports
Order parts from proper vendors using requisition list
Provide support to technicians and supplies parts to the shop floor
Take ownership of departmental morale, taking steps to enhance a positive work environment
Take active steps to always ensure a clean/organized work environment
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in parts or inventory control
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Knowledge of inventory control and processing in a maintenance and repair shop
Experience with heavy equipment and trucks preferred
Experience using an online purchasing and inventory tracking system
