Key Job Elements

Salesforce Platform Support – clean up technical debt, outdated automations, and unused metadata.

Account & Contact cleanup – improve segmentation, data quality, and enable customer 360.

Junior admin tasks – set up new users, page layouts, and internal support.

Data & Business Analytics – conduct customer stratification and data quality reviews.

Build and improve dashboards/reports while developing analytical skills.

Analyze business segments to understand product lines, customer types, and opportunities.

Documentation – requirements documentation, IT testing, UAT.

Journey Mapping & Discovery – support stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, and mapping end‑to‑end customer journeys.

Identify process gaps where digital tools, including Salesforce, can improve experience and efficiency.

Digital Transformation Support – assist in testing, story validation, and Salesforce enhancement QA.

Participate in digital modernization initiatives and system improvement projects.

Training & Documentation – create training resources, how‑to guides, internal enablement content, and materials for workshops, onboarding, and business unit engagement.

Education / Training

Interest in pursuing a degree program in Industrial Distribution, Business Analytics, IS/IT, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Qualifications And Experience

Understanding of basic CRM concepts and interest in Salesforce tools.

Exposure to dashboards, analytics, or tools like Excel/Power BI.

Bonus: familiarity with Flows, user stories, Jira, or Confluence.

Essential and Physical Activities Functions

Strength – must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Motion – primarily office setting, desk work, using computers and other office equipment.

Vision/Hearing – may spend long periods in front of a computer screen; need to read detailed billing statements and be detail oriented.

Work Environment – majority time in office with occasional exposure to plant environments (hot/cold, noise).

Emotional Demands – strong communication skills, capable of multitasking, working independently, adapting to frequent changes in tasks and workload.

Safety – adherence to all safety practices while in a facility, use of PPE, steel‑toed boots, no jewelry, hard hats. Not a safety‑sensitive position.

Transportation & Visa Interns must secure their own transportation. Regular in‑person attendance is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
