We are looking for a New Business Developer with a strong track record of generating new business within the
fresh produce industry . The ideal candidate will have established relationships with
growers, retailers, and key customers , and a deep understanding of the produce supply chain. Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop
new business opportunities
within the fresh produce market. Build and maintain strong relationships with
growers, suppliers, retailers, and other customers . Drive revenue growth by
acquiring new accounts and expanding existing relationships . Manage the buying and selling of
specific produce categories , ensuring competitive pricing and strong margins. Negotiate with suppliers and customers to secure profitable deals. Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply dynamics within the produce industry. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Requirements
Proven
track record in Business Development or Sales
within the produce or fresh food industry. Strong network and relationships with
growers, distributors, and retailers/customer base . Experience in
buying and selling specific produce categories is a big plus . Ability to negotiate, build partnerships, and close deals. Strong understanding of
produce market dynamics, sourcing, and distribution . Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with
fresh produce suppliers, wholesalers, or distributors . Demonstrated ability to
grow revenue and open new markets . Established industry connections that can be leveraged for business growth.
