Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
MacroHealth is seeking a highly strategic, hands-on Director of FP&A to serve as a key financial leader and thought partner to the CFO and executive team. This role will own the company's financial planning architecture, forecasting framework, performance reporting, and strategic modeling. The ideal candidate is confident operating independently, thrives in ambiguity, and brings executive-level judgment to capital allocation, investment prioritization, and long-range planning. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the Board and investors, and meaningful influence on company strategy, scalability, and enterprise value creation. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy Own the company-wide financial planning process, including annual operating plan, multi-year strategic plan, and capital planning. Drive financial alignment with corporate strategy, including product investments, go-to-market scaling, acquisitions, and marketplace expansion. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership team on strategic decisions, pricing, investments, and resource allocation. Forecasting, Modeling & Capital Planning Lead rolling forecasts (monthly/quarterly), cash flow projections, and runway analysis. Build and maintain complex multi-scenario financial models (organic growth, M&A, capital raises, cost optimization scenarios). Support capital strategy, including debt/equity planning, investor materials, and due diligence analysis as needed. Reporting & Executive Communication Deliver timely, decision-ready financial reporting and variance analysis. Prepare Board-ready presentations, executive dashboards, and KPI reporting. Translate financial insights into clear strategic recommendations for non-finance stakeholders. Healthcare Marketplace & Performance Metrics Own and refine the company's marketplace and transaction-based performance and financial metrics, including ARR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, contribution margins. Develop and monitor healthcare marketplace KPIs, including payer adoption, platform utilization, savings performance, and revenue scalability. Partner cross-functionally to drive operational accountability through data-driven performance management, aligning financial metrics with product, sales, and operational execution. Process, Systems & Scalability Build scalable FP&A infrastructure, processes, and automation. Optimize use of NetSuite NSPB, BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau), and modeling tools. Establish governance, reporting cadence, and financial discipline to support growth and potential future liquidity events. Team Building Design and build the FP&A function over time, hiring and mentoring high-performing analysts as the company grows. Qualifications & Requirements Experience 1015+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Experience in high-growth SaaS or healthcare technology environments required. Prior exposure to payer markets or healthcare / marketplaces preferred. Experience supporting Board reporting and/or investor communications required. Experience in acquisition modeling and integration planning highly desirable. Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred. Technical Expertise Advanced financial modeling expertise (Excel required; VBA/Python a plus). Experience with ERP and planning systems (NetSuite strongly preferred). Deep knowledge of revenue recognition, subscription modeling, and cohort analysis. Strong data fluency; able to synthesize operational and financial datasets. Leadership & Executive Presence Executive-level communication skills and boardroom confidence. High ownership mentality with ability to operate autonomously. Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded. Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing senior leaders. Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Compensation: $185,000$205,000 USD annual base salary plus bonus, equity, 401k match, flexible PTO and medical/dental/vision insurance.
