Job Description
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them through in‑person, by appointment, and virtually to provide counsel while embracing a digital‑first mindset. They assess customers’ banking needs, process account information, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions aligned with each customer’s goals. Consultants proactively reach out, ask questions, and learn about financial needs and channel preferences. They maintain knowledge of consumer and business products, including digital offerings, and provide a consistent client experience through greetings, basic transaction processing, and collaboration with branch team members. Opening new accounts, completing requests, and submitting credit applications are part of the role. They also educate clients on emerging self‑service digital products to meet financial needs and leverage technology to serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Typically a minimum of one to two years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach.
Effective communication and engagement with clients.
Basic knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
Exploring and identifying customers’ true needs while using a digital‑first mindset.
Basic proficiency in recommending solutions that meet customers’ needs reactively and proactively.
Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Requirements This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Applicants will undergo a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
