As Assistant Director of Housekeeping you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to excellence in cleanliness and ensuring the highest standards of service. You will lead by example, inspire and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of Housekeeping works with the Director of Housekeeping to assist in the supervision of the housekeeping operation to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to our guests according to property objectives. In addition to inspecting rooms and training room attendants this position will perform cleaning duties in all areas of the hotel. This role requires the candidate to have administrative experience including ordering, inventory and scheduling. The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for delivering clean rooms for occupancy that meet the brand’s time, product and placement standards. Qualifications
2+ years prior supervisory experience in a hotel environment Brand experience is preferred Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as needed Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse TEAM Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, guests, and other departments Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are highly desired. Positive attitude that makes everyone feel welcomed Physical Demands
Able to bend and kneel for low area cleaning. Able to lift 30 pounds. Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaner, wet vac, and carpet machine.
