Western Carolina Phys – Harris F The Regional Director, Central Billing Office is an experienced personnel director with oversight of billing functions for the physician practices in accordance with applicable guidelines and policies. The Regional Director oversees all revenue cycle operations for Provider Based and Free Standing practices for DLP Western Carolina Physician Practices, LLC. Qualifications
Associates Degree in Business related program preferred. Candidate must have five (5) years of physician billing experience and a thorough knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding. Ideal candidate will preferably be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Prefer advanced Excel skills. Experience with Provider Based Billing strongly preferred. Strong ability to multi task and meet deadlines. Comfortable with Microsoft Excel Functions and experienced in data analysis in Excel and willing to become an expert/super user in the Athena Health Practice Management Platform. Able and willing to travel to practices up to 30% and to the HSC in Brentwood, TN when needed. Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
