Admissions and Enrollment Director, gt.school - $200,000/year USD

Crossover, Georgetown, TX, United States

While many enrollment positions focus on presenting what a school provides, this role is designed to safeguard admission standards.

GT School partners with families seeking an alternative to conventional classroom models. Our students exhibit advanced academic capabilities and progress at a rate that demands depth, rigorous challenge, and purposeful design. We create an environment where high-level ability is both supported and anticipated.

Our approach meets students at their current level and advances them beyond it. Learning is customized, growth is monitored closely, and students are regularly pushed to engage in deep thinking and progress with assurance. Families turn to us for guidance on whether this degree of rigor and acceleration aligns with their needs, and for a learning setting that honors their child's actual potential.

As the person in this role, you will serve as the initial contact for families considering whether GT School suits their child. Each message you craft and every discussion you facilitate will influence how families perceive the program and envision their child's educational trajectory.

We welcome applicants from high-end service settings outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive admissions programs, upscale hospitality, senior executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneur-operators who have directly overseen premium client experiences from start to finish. The key is your capacity to manage a personalized, phased process with discernment, transparency, and consistent execution.

What You Will Be Doing

Take full ownership of the admissions process, spanning initial inquiry to final enrollment confirmation and integration

Facilitate structured exploratory discussions to evaluate family objectives, expectations, and fit prior to advising on subsequent actions

Oversee 15–25+ concurrent family engagements, each progressing at distinct stages, with deliberate prioritization and accountability

Deliver campus visits, observation days, and enrollment consultations that articulate outcomes, standards, and choices with exactness

Maintain precise CRM documentation and enrollment data to enable forecasting, priority-setting, and service excellence

Serve as the organization-wide expert on identifying students suitable for GT micro school locations

Train and guide Admissions Directors across GT micro school sites on recognizing and routing GT-qualified students

What You Won’t Be Doing

Employing transactional or aggressive enrollment strategies

Admitting families who lack alignment solely to meet enrollment targets

Supervising a sizable team or working through complex hierarchical structures

Handing off responsibility for the family relationship to other personnel

Operating remotely. This position is campus-based intentionally

Directing or supervising Admissions Directors at additional locations; this is a collaborative support function for GT-specific matters

Lead and implement a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls appropriate families while upholding program standards.

Basic Requirements

3+ years providing high-touch, individualized service in settings where quality of service directly influences organizational reputation (education, premium sales, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive memberships, or independently-run service businesses)

Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial outreach through integration

Track record managing multiple simultaneous client, guest, or family interactions across varying stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization approach

Capacity to offer specific examples of advisory decision-making, including instances where you counseled against enrollment or purchase when fit was inadequate

Professional correspondence experience with C-level executives, affluent clients, or discerning stakeholders

Skill in distilling intricate eligibility criteria into straightforward, actionable guidance that peers without specialized training can implement on their own

Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to Georgetown, TX (greater Austin region)

Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship

Nice-to-have Requirements

Background in competitive independent school admissions or selective program enrollment

Experience in upscale hospitality, VIP client services, or senior executive support functions

History of developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks

Proficiency leveraging analytics and CRM tools to enhance enrollment fit, not merely transaction velocity
