Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the environmental services department, including housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff
Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal efficiency and quality of service
Plan, organize, and direct the cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, common areas, and equipment
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives, trending, and reporting
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional resident care
Requirements:
2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in an environmental services leadership role
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
