
Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Position Summary:
The Vice President of Sales & Business Development is primarily responsible for identifying strategic opportunities to generate more inquiries, overseeing sales activities, supporting PR initiatives, and creating collateral and event ideas, as well as developing a global sales plan for Sinceri Senior Living. This position partners with the VP of Marketing and Communications to align strategies and initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Hires and trains regional sales representatives and assists with the training of Community Resource Directors
Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
Develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to meet the organization’s strategic plan; evaluates market conditions and recommends changes to encourage growth in market shares
Develop and manage efforts to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts (ROI) and assess impact of key competitive strategies and category trends
Works toward increasing sales growth in the company through training, campaign development and positive relations with the community at large.
Set key messages to raise brand awareness and articulate brand position. Manage dissemination
and use of consistent brand messaging across the Company and all communities
Collaborates with the COO and Regional Directors of Operations to conduct community assessment to identify other avenues to enhance inquiry volume and/or brand recognitions.
Works closely with senior leadership to define strategies, package and rollout new programs, services, and amenities.
Provides leadership to the regional and community sales teams.
Motivates and encourages regional and community leaders to ensure benchmarks/ratios are met.
Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
Assigns territories and sets sales ratios for Community Resource Directors and regional sales staff.
Facilitate relationship with third party providers that oversee online digital marketing campaigns, reputation management, company website, and TV, radio, and other marketing campaigns
Oversee production of all collateral material utilized in Company and site marketing to ensure brand message and standards
Identify, develop and manage corporate wide and community based annual sales and marketing plans including plans for new communities that are joining Sinceri through acquisitions

Serve as the communication content expert for all corporate, PR and community marketing activities.
Identify media outlets that reach key constituency groups
Lead the development and execution of a crisis communication plan
Supports the sales team with regards to community educational and signature events.
Ability to Travel
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing preferred
Prior experience in leading a sales and marketing department.
5+ years of progressive sales, marketing, communications, social media and public relations experience formulating and executing communication and marketing strategies at a corporate level that support producing results at the local level
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent knowledge of general business, communication, sales, branding and marketing principles and practices.
Proven experience driving occupancy and/or revenue in multi-housing, senior housing or long-term care in a multi-site organization.
Proven record of successful new service/program launches.
Demonstrated ability to utilize market intelligence from a variety of sources to identify market trends, understand implications and create new business opportunities
Must have solid knowledge of strategic planning and analysis
