
UMD Stores-Executive Accounts Specialist

This position supports the Financial Department of the UMD Stores. Duties are primarily in the areas of accounts payable, Buyer/Supplier inquiries, P-Card payments, and supplier setup.
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2:30 pm
This is a 30 hour per week, 12 month position
What you’ll be doing: Accounts Payable – 70%
Process invoices and credit memos
Invoice matching
Document upload to FinOps template for PeopleSoft processing
Delivery to Controller’s office for imaging
Invoice and Disbursement Inquiries – 20%
Research and resolve Buyer and Supplier inquiries
Partner with Disbursement Services and the UMD Controller’s Office to resolve any payables issues.
Other Financial Support – 10%:
Monthly Payment Card (P-Card) processing
Supplier setup
Serves as backup for the UMD Stores Cash Room
Any other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
High School Diploma/GED plus four (4) years of general accounts transaction experience. Training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience. Computer experience required. Specific knowledge/skills may be required.
SALARY RANGE $24.14 - $25.50 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience
