We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Operations Specialist to assist our loan production specialists with appraisal reviews, investor underwriting submissions, preliminary title review, and other tasks as needed; disburse loans we close locally; assist with the appraisal desk; complete portfolio loans for imaging; manage our stale check processes; and provide back‑up to the mortgage loan servicer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor loan pipeline and follow up on upcoming lock expirations
Prepare closing documents and support day‑of‑close activities
Communicate with loan originators, closing agents, title companies, and attorneys
Resolve outstanding documentation with closing partners
Assist with recording and filing documents
Manage loan funding and disbursements
Return final documents to borrowers after closing
Coordinate appraisal orders and ensure policy compliance
Review preliminary title work and identify issues
Provide backup support for appraisal functions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years professional office experience
Knowledge of Mortgage loan processes
Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
Service‑oriented, polite, and respectful
Advanced problem‑solving and analytical skills
Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
HOURS Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
