
Kitchen & Bath Designer/Sales Consultant

Responsibilities
Design & Sell Cabinetry Projects. Cultivate relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction & achieve sales goal set. Take on multiple design projects at once from various project managers & Cape Associates clients.
Take projects from schematic design to permit level & construction documents. Design work will range from millwork fabrication drawings to moderately sized residential renovations. Individual is responsible for all necessary field measurements & accuracy of such. Communicate with engineers, interior designers, town officials, Cape Associates Wood Shop employees, vendors, subcontractors, & any other people involved in the design projects. Homeowner direct interaction.
Management of multiple kitchen/bath projects simultaneously throughout the year. Sales goal for first 12 months is set upon hiring & is anticipated to grow annually.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of three years' experience within kitchen & bath design.
Previous experience selling Mouser & Wood Harbor products.
Must have experience estimating projects.
Excellent communication skills & ability to follow instructions.
Ability to thrive in an energetic & fast paced environment.
Positive attitude, willingness to work independently or as a team.
Passion & appreciation for residential design field.
Willingness to learn, detail orientated, self-motivated, organized.
High level of customer service & client relations.
Must be proficient in 20/20.
Must be experienced in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
Must be proficient with virtual &/or in-person meetings.
Physical Requirements This is largely a sitting role; however, some standing & movement is required. Walking, & inspecting jobsites as needed, & occasionally access eaves, attics, & crawlspaces, to collect the necessary as-built information. This includes the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, & bend/stand, as necessary.
