ABOUT US MidAmerica Basement Systems, a leader in basement waterproofing and foundation repair, is expanding to include gutter services and is looking for an experienced gutter foreman to lead a gutter crew. The Gutter Foreman will be responsible for proper installation and customer service while driving a team to safely and efficiently install our top‑of‑the‑line Gutter Shutter products. JOB SUMMARY The Foreman will oversee their crew and each production job to completion, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency while focusing on providing a remarkable experience for our homeowners. Our gutter solutions include repair and replacement of gutters, fascia, and rake board replacement as well as structural solutions including rafter and plywood repair or replacement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides leadership to the crew.

Loads the work truck with materials, tools, and equipment.

Ensures ladders, scaffolds, and equipment are used in compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Unloads and cleans the truck once returned to the shop.

Oversees training of new crew members.

Delegates tasks and responsibilities to the team during the project.

Builds strong rapport with the crew.

Reads and reviews contracts and change orders before loading product(s) into the work truck.

Performs high‑quality installations within or under the designated timeframe.

Ensures quality work and safe practices on the job site.

Communicates with the customer throughout the project using the company’s customer messaging.

Ensures the customer is aware of and happy with any changes to the job before making the change.

Ensures the customer is happy with the completed job.

Ensures the customer’s home is clean and left in a better condition than it was found.

Collects payment upon job completion.

Completes and returns all paperwork to the appropriate people at the company.

Communicates with Production Manager and In‑Field Trainer on job status.

Provides a remarkable experience for homeowners and employees.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

Strong knowledge of gutter installation techniques with at least five years of experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to lead by example.

Ability to educate new employees.

Ability and skill in operating equipment and/or power tools required.

Ability to climb up and down a ladder frequently.

Ability to bend, twist, and turn the body at shoulders, waist, and knees to handle and install gutters.

Comfortability with heights is required.

Willingness to address issues.

Strong leadership skills.

Ability to be decisive and overcome obstacles on the job site.

Ambitious and results‑oriented.

Knowledge of general construction or related trades.

Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company. (CDL is a plus but not required)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required and 5+ years of experience in gutter installation or a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have physical strength, balance, hand‑eye coordination, and necessary stamina to complete jobs.

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.

Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb ladders and stairs while carrying materials and products weighing between 40 and 70 pounds.

Must be able to work some Saturdays when needed.

Must be able to travel out of town and overnight when needed.
