The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, a robust underwriting acumen, and the ability to build relationships with brokers and clients. This role involves underwriting new and renewal business, driving profitable portfolio growth, and keeping abreast of market trends in technology and cyber risk.### **Key Responsibilities*** **Underwriting & Portfolio Management*** Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal Technology E&O and Cyber accounts in accordance with company guidelines and risk appetite.* Analyze complex risks and recommend appropriate coverages, terms, pricing, and conditions.* Maintain and expand a portfolio of profitable accounts, meeting loss ratio and growth objectives.* Conduct detailed risk assessments leveraging internal tools and resources.* **Broker & Client Engagement*** Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to generate and secure business opportunities.* Represent the company at broker meetings, conferences, industry events, and presentations.* Provide responsive and expert guidance on coverage, market trends, and risk mitigation strategies.* **Technical Leadership*** Stay current on evolving cyber threats, regulatory environments, and emerging technology risks.* Act as a subject matter expert for Tech E&O and Cyber within the underwriting team and broader organization.* Mentor and provide technical training to junior underwriters.* **Operational Excellence*** Work collaboratively with claims, legal, actuarial, and product development teams.* Adhere to departmental compliance, audit, and documentation standards.* Assist in product development, including manuscript wording, endorsements, and new offering design.* Prepare and deliver portfolio analysis, market intelligence, and performance reports.### **Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
