THE ROLE: We are seeking Lead Gen AI and ML Engineer to join our team that will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, using effective communication, problem-solving and prioritization skills. Individuals that are well organized, show great attention to detail, and employ critical thinking are well-suited for our team.
THE PERSON: This AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) team is looking for a passionate senior level person that can help lead team initiatives, mentor junior developers, excel as a team player, and collaborate with people across different time zones. The candidate will be involved in all areas that impact the team including performance, automation, and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and lead the development of Gen AI and ML architectures to support the Multi-Agentic AI solutions that enhance engineering execution and product delivery
Lead AI initiatives that focus on business impact‑driven use cases, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions
Expertise and hands‑on experience in developing, deploying ML models and serving predictions at scale with low latency and high performance
Drive engineering excellence through comprehensive code‑review, CI/CD, and adherence to best practices for the MLOps lifecycle
Experience handling large datasets, diverse data sources & formats, and developing scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT
Experience working across multi‑cloud environments and frameworks (Langgraph, Pytorch, etc.)
Think critically about what data should be collected and the implications of the data collected
Proven record of accomplishment of working within and across groups
Excellent communication skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Expert level Python programming and deep knowledge of ML frameworks (Scikit‑Learn/PyTorch/Tensorflow) – Must
Production‑ready coding skills adhering to best practices
Strong experience in SQL
Experience in data wrangling/ETL (data cleaning, transformation, integration)
Demonstrated experience in MLOps and/or DataOps
Attention to detail
Self‑starter
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Expert ML engineering and deployment experience in Gen AI and ML solutions at scale
Experience in Agentic AI, RAG, and LLMs and their applicability in semiconductor design
Experience in CPU/GPU validation, BIOSQA, or firmware development
Experience in system design and architecture
Experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in high‑volume manufacturing
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
