If you are a Mechanical Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based at our Mansfield, MA location, you will contribute to the design and development of pressure relief valves for nuclear power plants and valves for U.S. Navy submarines and aircraft carriers. In this role, you will work on projects that prioritize safety and quality, including design improvements, product enhancements, and sizing and selection activities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for various valve applications.

Create CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy designs.

Provide technical support to internal teams, including quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing.

Troubleshoot and assist with shop floor activities, from material issues to valve assembly and testing.

Prepare procedures for assembly, testing, and qualification, and perform stress analysis for products and materials.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering Technology field.

Knowledge of manufacturing environments and processes.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

3+ years of experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing setting, ideally with engineered-to-order products.

Familiarity with product data management systems and bill of materials development.

Technical knowledge of valves and valve products.

Understanding of ASME Codes and Standards.

Compensation: The total target compensation for this position is

$90,000 – $115,000 annually , commensurate with skills, talent, capabilities, and experience.
