Enterprise Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer – Enterprise, you will work in a fast‑paced startup environment, owning technical wins, building relationships, developing new use cases, driving product innovation, and collaborating cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

Secure technical wins and influence purchasing decisions by designing solutions that deliver value aligned with customers’ business and technical requirements.

Build deep relationships with executive and technical stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey.

Identify and architect high‑value, industry‑leading solutions by uncovering emerging operational needs.

Deliver customer feedback and insights to influence product roadmap and market fit.

Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success to accelerate business and improve processes.

Document and share best practices to strengthen team performance.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience leading technical engagement in complex enterprise environments.

Discovery expertise – deeply understand core customer challenges and translate them into scalable, outcome‑driven solutions.

Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to engage senior decision‑makers and technical stakeholders.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and architectures.

Experience integrating AI, SaaS solutions, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs).

Knowledge of CCTV & video management systems and access control technologies (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Ocularis) is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong influence, autonomy, collaboration, and ethical leadership.

Location and Travel Remote (Canada). Travel up to 50%.

Compensation Base pay $159,000–$194,000 CAD, plus bonus and stock awards.
