Come join our amazing team!Preferred Location: San FranciscoAlternative Location: New York**Essential Job Functions:**The Sr. Claims Manager will be responsible for the active management of EPL (Employment Practices Liability) claims, as well as private D&O claims (from an employment perspective) and fiduciary claims. Prior experience handling EPL and/or professional liability claims is preferred. Experience handling EPL claims involving universities and colleges a plus. The successful candidate will be required to evaluate coverage, draft coverage correspondence, assess appropriate reserves, undertake claims investigations, manage defense counsel and legal spend, assess liability and financial exposure, and effectively negotiate cost effective, good faith claims resolution.**Requirements:*** Bachelors degree required. Juris Doctorate required.* 10+ years of experience in the insurance/legal profession dealing specifically with Financial and/or Professional Lines claims* In-depth understanding of policy language/coverage* Experience managing, evaluating, mediating and negotiating EPL claims.
