Position Summary The Business Sales Consultant must influence C‑Suite decision makers to think differently about their business through CoAdvantage’s co‑employment relationship offerings. The role involves establishing new client relationships and identifying client needs in the commercial markets of the assigned region. The primary objective is to generate new prospects and sell CoAdvantage PEO services to meet an annual quota. This field sales position starts as a hunter role with uncapped earning potential.
Essential Job Functions
Identify and prospect new business opportunities that result in new clients.
Profile and manage Salesforce.com daily.
Produce sales leads via self‑generation, BDR‑generated warm leads, and business referrals.
Actively develop and maintain a network of small and mid‑size business owners.
Identify and establish potential channel partners.
Establish 150–200+ new connections each week.
Maintain and/or exceed monthly Key Performance Indicators.
Collaborate with C‑Suite professionals to understand business needs and introduce, expand, and sell CoAdvantage products and services.
Represent CoAdvantage as the leading PEO provider.
Adhere to CoAdvantage Core Competencies and Core Values both inside and outside the office.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
3–5+ years of experience with complex business solution‑based sales and/or 2 years in outside sales.
3–5+ years of experience in a business environment.
PEO consulting experience (preferred).
Strong working knowledge of employment and labor laws, workforce management best practices, and state/federal benefit regulations.
Previous experience in a consultative sales role.
Proven and documented sales track record with complex solution‑based sales.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to understand underlying client issues.
Outstanding ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Ability to identify, establish, and develop new complex sales business.
Outstanding ability to hunt for new customers.
