Job Overview
LPL Financial Managed Program Marketing is seeking a Marketing Consultant with knowledge in digital and traditional marketing. In this position, you will act as a marketing consultant and main point of contact for up to 25 financial institution marketing teams and investment programs and 50-75 advisors. You will consult with financial institution marketing teams and advisors to grow business through strategic marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities Program Consulting
Institutional Insight
Gain an understanding of the financial institution culture and program growth goals to ensure alignment and relevance.
Gain an understanding of the current marketing channels used to reach financial institutions’ member or customer base and how marketing the investment services program will fit into their natural marketing cadence.
Strategic Marketing Alignment
Develop a marketing calendar that reflects the program strategy.
Ensure content is accessible and turnkey, using a library of pre-approved content.
Continuously explore new opportunities to innovate and expand reach.
Consulting
Conduct regular accountability meetings with financial institution marketing partners to maintain focus and momentum.
Follow up in a timely manner on marketing plan deliverables, ensuring joint accountability to commitments.
Meet regularly with the assigned Regional Investment Director to review program marketing goals and plan execution effectiveness.
Complete a quarterly scorecard for each institution, indicating level of engagement and execution on the agreed-upon plan.
Advisor Consulting
Onboarding
Complete actions on the Onboarding Checklist.
Send welcome email explaining initial consulting process.
Consulting
Conduct 3-4 annual individual consulting sessions, developing a cadence of digital marketing, a social media marketing calendar and ongoing strategic client nurturing.
Complete a quarterly scorecard to discuss advisor engagement with the assigned Regional Investment Director.
Maintain stationery where necessary post-onboarding.
Conduct group meetings with advisors based on skill and marketing engagement level.
Other marketing duties
Newsletter
Craft the quarterly newsletter for the MAM audience.
Recruiting
Maintain program recruiting brochures / update as needed.
Webinar management
Manage the timeline for program webinars: follow-up on program webinar dates, speaker commitments, follow-up on results.

Requirements
3+ years of experience in marketing and digital marketing.
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, a related field, or an additional 2+ years of professional marketing experience.
Prior experience working with banks and/or credit unions.
Solid understanding of branding and marketing metrics.
Solid knowledge of CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management.
Basic understanding of events and webinars.
Experience with traditional advertising such as billboards, radio and print.
Previous project management experience.
Pay Range $68,200 - $113,600/year
Benefits Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
