Talent Consultants is on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to develop effective educational programs and materials. The Instructional Designer will take the lead in creating engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of learners and align with organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, analyzing learner needs, and leveraging various instructional design methodologies to produce high-quality training content.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze training needs and performance gaps to develop targeted instructional solutions.

Design, develop, and implement instructional materials using a variety of media, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and job aids.

Utilize instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM to create effective learning experiences.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.

Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

Stay current with educational trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design.

Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Provide guidance and support to instructional staff in the implementation of training materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience (2+ years) in instructional design, e-learning development, and curriculum design.

Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.

Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar technologies.

Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in course deployment and management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.

Strong analytical skills to assess learner needs and evaluate instructional effectiveness.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with multimedia design and familiarity with graphic design software is a plus.

Certifications in instructional design or adult education (e.g., CPLP, ATD) are a plus.
