Prime Video seeks a Strategy Manager in Los Angeles to guide content selection plans, including capital allocation across the portfolio. The role collaborates with senior leaders across creative development, content acquisition, finance, business affairs, marketing, and production.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate top‑down content strategy recommendations, including sizing and allocating the content budget. Identify deep, actionable insights into customer preferences, behavior, and needs globally. Evaluate net‑new growth opportunities, exploring new content verticals and M&A initiatives. Perform competitive analysis and benchmarking, identifying market trends. Forecast and monitor content performance, track progress, and analyze variance sources. Author business‑driving documents that surface key learnings and provide recommendations for the go‑forward content offering. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or BS. Experience using complex modeling and analysis to inform key business decisions. Strong verbal and written communication skills for executive‑level leaders. 4+ years in investment banking, management consulting, or strategy/business development at a major media or technology company. Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading large‑scale programs or projects. Proactive, independent work style with a track record of meeting deadlines. Experience in content strategy, programming strategy, or marketing strategy fields. Salary & Benefits
Base salary range: $80,300.00 – $140,500.00 USD annually (Culver City, CA). Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
