Your Role and Responsibilities As an IBM Account Technical Leader you will work closely with clients to develop and execute a Client Technical Strategy (CTS) tailored to their business and technical needs. You will serve as the leading advocate for Technology Decision Points, showcasing IBM’s capabilities and driving the adoption of Hybrid Cloud Platform solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop Client Technical Strategy: Collaborate with clients to understand their business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities, and develop a comprehensive CTS that addresses their needs.
Showcase IBM Technology: Present IBM’s technology offerings and thought leadership to clients, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages of IBM’s solutions.
Lead Technical Engagement: Direct the technical engagement with clients, including defining client use cases, co‑creation, and architecture definition, and engage IBM Client Engineering and CSM teams for workshops, MVPs, and deployment.
Foster Relationships: Build and maintain direct relationships with client developers, researchers, and support resources to ensure seamless collaboration and effective solution delivery.
Drive Innovation: Engage with IBM Labs and Research to showcase innovation, share technology roadmaps, and gather product feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Technology Strategy Development: Experience with developing and executing client‑centric technical strategies, aligning with business objectives and technical priorities.
Technical Advocacy: Experience in advocating for technology solutions, showcasing capabilities, and driving adoption of innovative technologies.
Technical Engagement Leadership: Experience in leading technical engagements, including defining client use cases, co‑creation, and architecture definition.
Collaboration and Relationship Building: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders, including developers, researchers, and support resources.
Innovation and Solution Delivery: Experience with engaging research and development teams to drive innovation, share technology roadmaps, and deliver effective solutions.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Deep Understanding of Hybrid Cloud: Experience with Hybrid Cloud Platform solutions, including architecture definition, co‑creation, and deployment, to drive client adoption and business growth.
Technical Roadmap Development: Experience in developing and sharing technology roadmaps with clients, highlighting innovation and future direction to drive strategic alignment.
Innovation Showcase: Experience with showcasing innovation, gathering product feedback, and driving continuous improvement through collaboration with IBM Labs and Research.
