We are looking for an Account Technical Leader who will lead IBM’s technical strategy and associated tactical engagements with clients, acting as a trusted IT architecture advisor on the entire IBM Technology Portfolio.
Responsibilities
Define Technical Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with the client’s business objectives and priorities, leveraging IBM’s Technology Portfolio, including Software and Infrastructure offerings.
Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their technical challenges and priorities, providing trusted advisory services and guidance on IBM’s Technology Portfolio.
Develop Client Technical Strategy: Document and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that addresses the client’s business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities, in collaboration with Technology MD/Seller and brand sales.
Provide Solution Guidance: Offer expert guidance on IBM’s Technology Portfolio, including Software Platforms and Infrastructure products, to help clients make informed decisions about their IT architecture.
Execute Tactical Engagements: Lead tactical engagements with clients to implement IBM’s technical strategy, ensuring alignment with the client’s business objectives and priorities.

Deep Expertise in IT Architecture: Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive technical strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging a broad portfolio of software and infrastructure offerings.
Experience with Technology Portfolio Management: Skilled in managing and advising on a wide range of technology products and platforms, including data, automation, transaction processing, and hybrid cloud.
Mastery of Technical Strategy Development: Adept at leading the development of technical strategies that address complex business and technical challenges, in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in IBM Technology Portfolio: In-depth knowledge of IBM’s Technology Portfolio, including Software Platforms and Infrastructure products, with the ability to provide expert guidance and advisory services to clients.
Experience in Client‑Facing Technical Leadership: Proven track record of working closely with clients to understand their technical challenges and priorities, providing trusted advisory services and guidance on technology solutions.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Deep Understanding of IBM Software: In-depth knowledge of IBM’s four Software Platforms, including the Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, and Hybrid Cloud Platform, with the ability to provide expert guidance and advisory services to clients.
Familiarity with IBM Infrastructure: Experience with IBM’s Infrastructure product portfolios, including Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW, with the ability to advise clients on these offerings.
Broad Technical Expertise: Skilled in managing and advising on a wide range of technology products and platforms, including data, automation, transaction processing, and hybrid cloud, with the ability to design and implement comprehensive technical strategies.
