Job Description
The Corporate Tax Intern will support Caesars Entertainment’s Corporate Tax Department during the Summer 2026 semester, gaining hands-on experience in corporate tax accounting within a large, complex organization. This internship offers exposure to real-world corporate tax issues and processes, providing insight into a career path beyond public accounting and auditing.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing consolidated federal income tax returns, foreign tax filings, and state income/franchise tax returns
Support the preparation of pro forma federal tax returns across multiple entities within the corporate structure
Learn and analyze Schedule M-3 GAAP-to-tax differences such as depreciation, debt costs, and goodwill
Assist with state income tax compliance, including state apportionment and federal/state tax base differences
Work collaboratively with tax professionals using Thomson Reuters OneSource Income Tax software
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; completion of junior year by May 2026 preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
Genuine interest in corporate tax and long-term career growth
Interest in potential full-time employment following graduation is a plus
