Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and test RF/microwave components and systems, including:
- Antennas
- Amplifiers
- Filters
- Combiners and couplers
- Transceivers
- Support applications such as:
- Microwave systems
- Unlicensed PTP/PMP networks
- Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
- LMR telecommunications systems
- Perform RF system analysis including link budgets, interference analysis, and optimization.
- Conduct RF measurements and testing using lab and field equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable network solutions.
- Support and learn from the Senior RF Engineer, with long‑term growth toward assuming increased responsibility.
Required Qualifications (Top Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with concentration in RF/Microwave Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in RF/microwave system design and testing.
- Proficiency with RF design and propagation tools (e.g., EDX, Pathloss, or similar).
- Experience with RF measurement equipment including:
- Spectrum analyzers
- Network analyzers
- Cable and antenna analyzers
- Solid understanding of:
- Impedance matching (VSWR, return loss)
- Cable and antenna systems
- Noise and interference mitigation
- Link budget analysis
- Modulation schemes and antenna selection
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience with RF network integration and optimization for:
- Cellular networks (LTE, 5G)
- Wi‑Fi
- Microwave / PTP / PMP (licensed, unlicensed 5GHz, mmWave)
- Satellite or defense applications
- Knowledge of FCC and NTIA compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with RF safety and exposure standards.
- Experience designing and commissioning products from leading manufacturers such as:
- Nokia
- Motorola
- Cambium
- Siklu
- Commscope
- Nextivity

Job Type & Location
Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay And Benefits
Pay range: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year.
