This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates or current students who are ready to gain real-world marketing experience in a professional, fast-moving environment. You will support our marketing team across a variety of campaigns and projects — from content creation and social media to event support and market research — building a strong foundation for a long-term career in marketing. Responsibilities Assist the marketing team in the planning and execution of campaigns across digital and traditional channels Create and schedule content for social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook Conduct market research and compile reports on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences Support the coordination of promotional events, trade shows, and community outreach activities Help maintain and update the company website, blog, and email marketing lists Assist in the design and production of marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, and presentations Track and report on campaign performance metrics using basic analytics tools Provide general administrative support to the marketing department as needed Requirements Required Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take direction Preferred (not required) Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or social media analytics tools Prior internship, volunteer, or part-time experience in a marketing or communications role Familiarity with website platforms such as WordPress or Squarespace Competitive hourly pay — commensurate with experience Flexible scheduling to accommodate class schedules where possible Hands‑on mentorship from experienced marketing professionals Opportunity to build a real portfolio of marketing work Collaborative, supportive team culture Potential for growth into a full‑time role upon graduation Why Handshake?
