Position Overview As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in representing our brand by helping customers find and purchase vehicles that meet their needs. You will demonstrate features, handle sales transactions, and provide outstanding service to build strong customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers and identify their vehicle preferences.
Explain and demonstrate vehicle features both in the showroom and on test drives.
Recommend optional equipment to enhance the customer’s purchase.
Research vehicle availability and coordinate with management as needed.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to determine pricing, financing options, and trade‑in values.
Prepare and complete all necessary sales paperwork and credit applications.
Deliver new vehicles to customers, explaining features, warranty details, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain a system to develop and track sales prospects.
Stay knowledgeable about new products, features, accessories, and market trends.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
Follow company policies and procedures to meet or exceed sales targets.
Physical Requirements
Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
May require hand usage for fine tasks, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Regular standing, talking, hearing, walking, and sitting.
Potential exposure to exhaust fumes and other airborne particles.
Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds.
Must have good vision including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred.

Effective verbal communication and presentation skills when interacting with customers and management.
Problem‑solving ability with flexible approach to varied situations.
Capable of interpreting instructions provided in written, oral, or schedule form.
