Relationship Advisor I – Branch (26th Street, Columbus, IN)
Centra Credit Union invites a motivated professional to join as a full‑time Relationship Advisor I, responsible for engaging Members in meaningful conversations, advising on lending and financial products, and performing member account transactions. This role also contributes to branch safety and security in compliance with policy and procedure.
Role Overview This position follows a Learning Path that may lead to a Relationship Advisor III role or continued development in Retail Operations or other career paths.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Creates value by engaging Members during discussion and transactions while educating and advising on products, services, and lending.
Proactively engages with Members in problem‑solving, providing immediate and thoughtful consultation for tailored solutions.
Ensures own accountability for subject‑matter expertise in products and services, problem solving and financial literacy to continually grow skills required for Member engagement.
Engages in required Learning Path for continued development and growth and obtains Centra certification.
Compensation & Benefits Starting wage: $24.42 per hour.
Eligible positions also offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family.
Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.
Education & Experience Required:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
Minimum 1–3 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Preferred:
3–5 years related experience or better.
Licenses & Certifications Preferred: Nation Multi‑state Licensing.
