Customer Solutions Specialist
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist. This role will provide excellent customer service in our Customer Excellence Center taking ownership of, and resolving, customer inquiries.

What you will be doing:
You will deliver outstanding service and ensure our customers have a great experience
Maintain relationships with customers and sales staff by addressing incoming calls, processing sales orders, confirming shipments, resolving order & service issues
Manage procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory trackingYou will use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels and process orders
Verify customer credit status and complete necessary paperwork to issue credits or debits
Suggest additional and alternative products and services following established pricing guidelines to meet customer needs
Work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster a culture of teamwork and open communication to achieve shared goals
Other duties as assigned
What makes you great:
High School Diploma required, college or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 2 – 4 years of customer service or in store sales experience required
Prior industry experience including knowledge of current company products (hardgoods and welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas and medical gas) required
Hands on experience in Specialty Gas/Hydrocarbon industries, required
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in computer systems and computer applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self‑motivated
Ability to work flexible hours
