Account Coordinator

The Account Coordinator oversees a dedicated customer account and manages the end-to-end process of customer orders. This role focuses on accurately processing orders received through an EDI system, coordinating with the warehouse to ensure timely fulfillment, and providing responsive, professional customer service via email. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high volume of paperwork and customer communications in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a specific customer account, ensuring accurate and timely order processing. Retrieve customer orders from the EDI system and review them for accuracy and completeness. Print and assemble all necessary order paperwork, including packing slips and labels. Prepare and organize packing slips and labels in envelopes and deliver them to the warehouse for order pulling. Coordinate with the warehouse to confirm when orders have been pulled and are ready for shipment. Confirm that orders are ready to ship or route orders by printing bills and sending documentation for shipment. Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization while handling a large volume of paperwork. Communicate with customers daily via email, handling approximately 2040 emails per day related to order status, questions, and issues. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding order status, discrepancies, and special requests. Monitor orders throughout the fulfillment process to ensure they meet customer requirements and timelines. Use Microsoft Office tools, especially email, to manage communications and documentation. Apply critical thinking and attention to detail to identify and resolve order-related issues. Support order fulfillment activities, including working with purchase orders and order entry tasks. Contribute to a collaborative team environment with other Customer Service Representatives. Essential Skills

Proven customer service experience with a focus on order processing or order entry. Hands-on experience with order entry and order fulfillment processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly for email communication and basic documentation. Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional customer interactions. High attention to detail when reviewing and processing orders and paperwork. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders, documents, and tasks simultaneously. Ability to think critically and resolve issues related to orders and logistics. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Customer serviceoriented mindset, focused on accuracy, responsiveness, and reliability. High School Diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in a logistics, transportation, or distribution environment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial. Experience working with purchase orders and logistics documentation is an advantage. Background in coordinating with warehouse or logistics teams to support order fulfillment. Comfort working with electronic data interchange (EDI) systems for order retrieval is helpful. The Account Coordinator works in an office setting alongside a small team of approximately three to five Customer Service Representatives. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with frequent coordination between the office and the warehouse team to support efficient order fulfillment. Work is primarily computer-based, with extensive use of email and Microsoft Office to manage customer communications and documentation. The role involves handling physical paperwork, such as printed packing slips and labels, and regularly interacting with warehouse staff to ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. The pay range for this position is $17.86 - $17.86/hr.
