
Leasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive
Residential Leasing Coordinator
to support leasing operations within a luxury residential portfolio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can balance leasing, resident relations, and operational coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Leasing & Marketing
Coordinate and conduct apartment showings for both vacant and occupied units alongside brokers and prospective residents
Prepare and process lease applications, including ordering credit and background reports from approved vendors
Generate new leases for qualified applicants and assist with lease execution through final signature
Support brokers throughout the leasing process, including negotiations and lease signings
Establish rental pricing for new leases and renewals; contribute to monthly leasing and market reports
Manage early lease termination requests and negotiate resolutions
Resident Relations & Administration
Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, ensuring a high level of customer service and responsiveness
Maintain accurate lease files and resident documentation (both digital and hard copy)
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes to ensure a seamless resident experience
Issue resident communications and notices related to building operations and scheduled work
Operations & Property Management Support
Collaborate with the accounting team on rent collections, renewals, and vacancy reporting
Provide detailed vacancy and inspection reports to support security deposit returns and deductions
Initiate legal proceedings for non-payment of rent, including coordination of late fees and court representation when required
Partner with the Resident Manager on day-to-day building operations and special projects
Maintenance & Renovations
Coordinate repairs and maintenance by scheduling vendors, following up on completion, and ensuring resident satisfaction
Initiate and oversee renovation scopes for vacant units to optimize leasing potential
Negotiate pricing for minor renovations and manage vendor relationships
Coordinate painting and turnover work for both occupied and vacant apartments in accordance with lease requirements
Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to execute larger renovation projects
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all new residents establish utility accounts (e.g., electric and gas) at lease commencement
Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable housing regulations, including safety requirements for units with children
Assist in the preparation of annual income budgets and financial projections
Qualifications
Prior experience in residential leasing, property management, or a related field preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with leasing, accounting, and operations teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems preferred
