Panel Builder / Electrical Assembly Technician
If you enjoy building things with your hands, working with precision wiring, and seeing a finished electrical system come together from start to finish, this could be the role for you. Our client company is a well-established electrical contract manufacturer and distributor that designs and builds custom wire assemblies, cable harnesses, control panels, and complete box builds for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. They are growing and looking for a detail-oriented Panel Builder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to be part of a team that builds reliable electrical systems used across multiple industries. What You'll Be Doing Build and assemble electrical control panels and box builds according to schematics and work instructions Route and terminate wires for custom cable harnesses and wire assemblies Install electrical components including relays, switches, terminal blocks, connectors, and circuit protection devices Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper routing and labeling of wires Use hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and testing equipment to assemble components Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications Support testing and troubleshooting of completed assemblies when needed Maintain a clean and organized workstation while following safety and quality standards What We're Looking For Experience building electrical control panels, cable harnesses, or box builds in a manufacturing environment preferred not required Ability to read simple electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, organized wiring work Comfort using hand tools and electrical assembly equipment Ability to follow work instructions and maintain consistent quality standards Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and reliability Panel building Point-to-point wiring Cable harness assembly Wire termination and crimping Electrical assembly Control panel wiring Box build assembly Industrial electrical components Why This Role Is Worth Considering Stable, growing company with long-term customers Hands-on work where your skills actually matter Clean, organized manufacturing environment Opportunities to learn advanced electrical assembly and build new skills Work with a team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship The Bottom Line If you enjoy building electrical systems, working with wiring and schematics, and seeing a finished product come together, this is the kind of role where skilled people tend to stick around.
