
Escrow Assistant

Patten Title Company is a well-established title company with offices in Austin and Houston. We are currently looking for an Escrow Assistant with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of title company experience.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the Escrow Closing team to ensure successful transactions.
Some collaboration with the title department to resolve title issues.
Coordinate with buyer, lender, seller and/or broker to timely collect items and/or information needed to process files and/or cure title issues for a successful closing.
Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and HOA are ordered, updated and collected.
Address inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies professionally and promptly.
Confirm closing dates, location, and documentation needed for closing with borrowers.
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1-3 years of title company experience
Great knowledge base regarding resale, refinance and investor business
Full time physical attendance is an essential function in the job
Strong customer service orientation
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
